Storm Water Detention: Punta Verde Plaza will have a 0.63 acre regional detention pond in order to hold all runoff storm water generated from future commercial developments.

 

 

Water  

East Central Utility Service District is the water provider for the development and a utility service agreement has been approved for the fully-developed community, guaranteeing capacity and avoidance of offsite improvements to existing system. Water will tap into a newly placed ECSUD along Green Road and the residential and commercial development will create a loop capable of feeding the fully-developed project. Similar to sewer, the residential component will place a water main at the boundaries of Phases 2, 3 & 4, facilitating future service to tenants. 

Sewer

Sewer service for the development will be provided by the San Antonio River Authority under a Utility Service Agreement.

Gas & Fiber 

Centric Gas will bring gas and fiber along the 1604 frontage bordering the commercial development. This line will be routed to a hub located within the residential component of the project and will allow all Phases to be serviced. A utility service agreement has already been approved by for the fully-developed community, guaranteeing capacity and avoidance of offsite improvements to the systems. 

Electricity 

CPS Energy will be the electric provider for this site. There is existing overhead electric services along the entire Green Rd. Frontage. Phase 1 will route an overhead line into the development, facilitating the future phases to branch out of that line into underground distributions. 

Storm Water Detention 

Phase 1 of Punta Verde Plaza is constructing a 0.63 acre regional detention pond in order to detain all runoff generated from future commercial developments. This pond is properly sized and Punta Verde will not have a negative impact on any downstream development. Discharge of the pond will cross Green Road and drain onto Elizondo Creek.
